The 2023 show, held on a Saturday for the first time. (Let us know What you think about Saturday as opposed to Thursday)
A great show with lots of exhibits including many daffodils which had survived the deluge! There was beautiful Floral Art and very delicious items in the Domestic Section.
Whilst the judging took place, we sheltered in the church, with delicious nibbles and fizz
The Best in section awards went to Gill Racher's tulips, Louise Faure Walker's floral display and Janet Mahy's Easter biscuits. All really excellent entries!

The Autumn Show 2023 - 2nd September in St Mary's Church
A very enjoyable show, with slightly fewer entrants than last year but more entries in total.
The team, led by Will Fletcher, set up the tables and the exhibit areas in St Mary's on the day before the show. A huge effort by them all!
The Banksian Medal went to Keith Thompson with a magnificent display of dahlias, and Mary Gray was the overall winner on points. Margaret Gilliam was presented with a magnificent agapanthus to thank her for all her work in organising another very successful year for the Society.
Sally Fletcher ran a very successful auction of the produce at the end of the show.

The Autumn Show 2022 - 3rd September in St Mary's Church
It was really good to be back to normal, with the show in St Mary's Church.
Considering the weather conditions this year, including heat and drought during the year it was an excellent show, much enjoyed by the many members who exhibited and attended. Not surprisingly the number of entrants was down to 45, with 332 entries.
Annie and Tony Coe were awarded the RHS Banksian Medal and also won the George Berry Trophy for gaining the most points. Mary Gray won the Engine Trophy for the best exhibit in the show for her beautiful Cook's Vegetable Basket. The detailed results can be seen via the link below.
The day was rounded off by another very successful fun auction of produce, expertly run by Graham Scott.

The 2019 Show - After a great deal of hard work by the team, the church made a great venue and looked really good.It was another very successful show with slightly fewer entrants (69) but more entries (512) than last year. A really good show following our exceptionally warm summer. Fergus Moynihan was awarded the RHS Banksian Medal for the greatest number of points in the horticultural sections, and Fergus also won the George Berry Trophy for the overall winner on points. There were very impressive entries in all sections including wonderful animals made from fruit and vegetables in the Junior sections. There is a link to the results for 2019 below. A most enjoyable day was rounded off by a fun auction, when most of the produce was auctioned off, to help with the day's expenses.
